blessing...

i just found out my church is leading three mission trips to hong kong, china and the philippines this april. i haven't done missions since high school and i am soo excited about it!

you see, i went to a small, christian private school back home and every year, our school sent out mission trips during spring break and i was fortunate enough to go during my gr. 11 and 12 year. if there's one thing i want to take away from my kilt-wearing days, it would be these trips and the experience i had there.

after high school, i've always wanted to continue with missions but the time and money associated with these trips and the committment of university life never gave me that opportunity.

and now, 5-6 years later, i finally have the time and money to do it.

as an eternal optimist, i always wanted to view my transition from work as a blessing in disguise. and now...i'm starting to believe it.

i don't know where i'm going yet but i am excited nonetheless.



Increase in me.
Shine through me for all to see.
For in Your light is where I want to be.

Abide in me.
Make a dwelling place of me.
Take, as Your own, the very heart of me.

Relieve me of the bondage
Of the selfish parts of me.
I must decrease that You may increase in me...
