you are here...

i dunno why but i get asked for directions quite often. i get at least 1-2 people asking me for directions every week. viv says i have this nice aura that people feel safe enough to approach me and not be turned down. i always feel bad tho cuz i never know the places they want to go to. my sister claims i give out horrible directions cuz i can never remember any street names...only places to eat.
[sweet]

speaking of food, i've always been a savory person but ever since coming to hk, i've been developing a sweet tooth here. and between the late nite dessert gatherings after 180 and the spontaneous (almost daily) dessert breaks with my colleagues, it's really no surprise at all. my favorite so far has been everything mango (back in the summer) and glutinous rice balls...mmm
and it really doesn't help when your office is in close proximity to both a honeymoon dessert and a hang fa lau.

i know i'm bit late in hopping onto the ne-yo band wagon but i'm loving this guy's cd. i just realized i'll never grow out of good ole r&b hits.

i finally got approved for a hk credit card! hurray! you have no idea how difficult it was because i virtually have no credit history in hk. i've been using my canadian credit cards all this time but since the exchange rate has been so high, i didn't really mind.
it's like getting accepted into university all over again.
[whoa]

i met someone at 180 last week that went to the same hk primary school as me...and even in the same gr.2 class!!! how cool is that? even tho i left hk in gr 2, i still kept in touch with a lot of my primary school friends and we use to have mini reunions whenever people were back in hk.
it is a small (wonderful) world after all...

i just thought about ur cousin's virtual ninja, and imagined the sweat that builds up near the sideburns for kids... and eventually one or two sweat bulbs slide down the side of the face. all the while, he's just playing silently with low volumed grunts and wheezes.
