i'm baaaack...
i was sifting thru some of my old posts and i found this little gem in my achieve. you see, i have this habit of writing half-written posts and then forgetting about it ever being published. this is not very good blogging etiqutte at all but i'm slowly working on it. (i still have my BJ update post saved as a draft that i have yet to publish...*sniff*)
last sat at 180, pastor tony spoke about the meh factor and it immediately reminded me of this post i had written back in june when i was still working at the ubc office (and my mehness was pretty high).
****
meh.
according to wiktionary, meh is "an onomatopoeia expressing indifference or apathy; the verbal equivalent of a shrug of the shoulders."
example.
Homer: Kids, how would you like to go to Blockoland?
Bart and Lisa: Meh.
Homer: But the TV gave me the impression that...
Bart: We said, "Meh".
Lisa: M-E-H. Meh.
that about sums it up. if i had to choose one word to describe what i've been feeling lately, it would be meh.
i don't know if it's the weather (SAD), my job, my canadian laid-backness or what, i've been feeling lukewarm towards a lot of things lately and i HATE being like this. being lukewarm means you don't care. being lukewarm means you lack passion. being lukewarm means indifference. being lukewarm means being stationary, static and devoid of growth.

it's amazing how many things have changed in the past two months.
dream big for God.
