she speaks...

hk -> beijing -> vancouver -> hk

the nonstop travelling makes me feel like a rockstar.

and sorry for the hiatus everyone. i've been meaning to update this blog for the longest time and i blame jetlag for 90% of my laziness.

but i'm back in hk baby! and i'm going to see how long i can use this "but, i'm still jetlagged" excuse.

[vancouver]

my 12 days at home was glorious! it was so nice catching up with old friends and seeing my family again. and even tho i left vancouver almost a year ago, nothing seems to have changed except for the rising gas prices these days. it's $1.19 per litre now. craziness!!

and a big THANK YOU for all those fabulous breakfast/lunch/brunch/dinner/coffee/shopping/chilaxing/roadtrip/random laughing/latenite hang-outs/sleep-over dates! you have no idea how happy you all made me feel. i love you guys! and i will update my vancouver pics when this jetlag thing is over...hehe.

and you know what's funny? when i was in hk, i missed vancouver. and when i was in vancouver, i missed hk. if i had it my way, i would combine the two together but i know it's not possible.

vancouver will always be my home- that's where my family and friends are and that's where i grew up (from a rebellious pre-teen to a fresh uni grad trying to figure out life on her own).

HOWEVER, for the past year, i've fallen in love with hk and with the people i've met here. i'm 'growing up' in hk as well (from a fresh uni grad to an adult who realizes that life is not worth 'figuring out' if it's a life w/out God).

but like what mel says, no matter where you go, God brings you people to love.

and i am cool with that.
