bird flew? bird flu?
i had the chance to go to Macau with the fam and Viv on Saturday. i was there in 2003 with my friends Ling and Bill but it's been almost 10 years for my parents and i think the first one for Viv.
i really like Macau because unlike Hong Kong, the city still maintained a lot of its strong Portugese colonial flavor (ie: buildings, pavement etc). Hong Kong can really learn from that. Instead of building the tallest or fastest or Disneyland, HK should really restore or maintain some of its rich colonial heritage or HK culture.
and here are a few pics from the day trip to Macau. my poser-artsy shots never turn out as good as these ones from viv's camera so i stole them from her blog. hehehe. i'll post mine soon as well as a real update.

*** EDIT ***
I saw Marty Cradall from The Shins in Causeway Bay on Friday but I was too chickenshit to take a picture with him :( I think he's in town visiting his girlfriend Elyse (from America's Next Top Model 1) who's doing some modelling work in HK. Don't ask me how I know this.
