Anne and I went down to Limelight last nite and rented 5 DVDs for $15. Not bad huh? The catch is that they have to be non new-releases. We were in the mood for foreign films so we rented "In the Mood for Love," "8 Women," "Beijing Bicycle," "Life in Pink," and "Fallen Angels." We watched "In the Mood for Love" (by Wong Kar-wai) first and I can't help but notice how the movie reminded me a lot of "Lost in Translation." And didn't Sophia Coppola just win an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay? It was practically the same idea and theme but was set in a different time period and place. Hmm...very interesting.
