chivas + green tea...

Had a very jam packed week. Needed to take full advantage of it before i start my job tomorrow. Here's a recap...

On Wednesday, I went to Temple Street with Wing to check out the nite market and tai pai dongs (outdoor food stalls). We got there a bit early so a lot of the stalls were still setting up. I really wanted to eat at the dai pai dongs but decided to walk to Tsim Sha Tsui for dinner instead because we figured we should build our immune systems first before feasting on HK street food.

On Friday, I met up with Mel, Sammie and their friends at Causeway Bay and chilled at a k-bar/lounge called Lot 23. We all shared a bottle of Chivas for about $750 HKD. It was there that i experienced my first taste of chivas mixed with green tea. It was also there that i experienced my first skanky HK bar girls and their attempt at a lap dance. I WATCHED the lap dance. Just in case you were wondering.

On Saturday, i went with my aunt's family to the Gold Coast and had the best seafood dinner. You pick and buy your own seafood and you bring it to the restaurant and they cook it for you..brilliant!

Mister Softee: this ice-cream truck has not changed for at least 30 years and it serves the creamiest soft-serve ice cream...EVER!
