It's a full week of lectures, exhibitions, dances, coffee houses, wine & cheese etc. Come and learn about the beauty that IS Africa!
I'll be moderating 3 public lectures...
1) "Democracy, Development, Destiny: Setting the African Agenda and the Implications for Africans in the Diaspora" w/ Dr. Geroge Dei on Jan 28
2) "Corporate Social Responsibility and the Development Issues in Africa" w/ Rev. Thomas N. Anthonyn on Jan 29
3) "The Aftermath of the Sierra Leonean Crisis: Possible Approaches for Reconstruction" w/ Ahmed Khan and Amritha Fernandes Bakshi on Jan 29
....and if lectures aren't your thing, there will be a film nite (Jan 25), a coffee house feat. a Nigerian storyteller (Jan 26), a fundraiser "Aid for Zimbabwe" (Jan 27), and of course AFRO-FEST!!! (Jan 29)
